Know all men
by these presence
that I Umphrey Bratcher |
| have
Constituted made Ordained and appointed James Hart of the Same place my
True and Lawful Attorney in deed and in fact for me and in Proper Place
and Stead to Ask for Demand and Recieve from the Secretary of
NoCarolina a Certain Military Land Warrant of Six Hundred and
forty acres which is due me the duly proper heir and Representative of
Isaac Bratcher who served as a Private in Capt. Millers Company Tenth
Regiment in the Continental Line of this State in the Revolution war
against England and to the said Umphrey Bratcher doth by virtue of these
presence give and grant full power and authority unto said attorney to
Seize Reciepts for the Same by him Self agent or attorney by him made
and to do all other things which may be necefsary in Law for Obtaining
Said warrant in as full and Perfect manner as I Could do were I
personally present Ratifying and Confirming all the Lawful acts and
deeds of my Said attorney in Testimony wheareof I have heareunto Set our
hands and Seals this 12 day of June 1821 |
