     In the name of God Amen, October 4th, 1802.  I  John Bradsher of the County of Person and State of North Carolina being in good health and therefore of perfect sound mind and memory and understanding calling to mind the uncertain state of this transetory life do therefore make constitute and appoint this my last will and testament and none other.

     Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary the use of the plantation and land whereon I live with all the perishable and moveable property on the same during her life and widerhood, after either of which I give and despose of my estate in the following manner, viz. to my Son Moses one feather bed and ferniture which he is not to receive untell his mothers decease.

     Item, I also give to my son John one feather bed and furntiture which he is to receive at the Decease of his mother.

     Item, I give to my son James all my lands viz.  Thre Hundred and eighty nine acres including the house and plantation whereon I now live and also one feather bed and furniture which land and bed he is not to have untell his mothers decease.  My will farther is that my son James have half the stock viz the horses, cattle, hogs, etc. which he is Receive at his mothers death.

     Item, I ferther will that the remainder of my estate be equally divided between my nine children to wit, Sary, Moses, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy, Franky, Dise, John and James or the survivers of them which they are to Receive at my wifes decease.

     My will farther is if my son James dyes without heir then his part of the above mentioned estate should be equally divided between the surviving children within named.

     Item, I do hereby apoint my beloved wife Mary and my son Moses to see same truly executed, As Witness my hand and seal the day and date above writen.
