Know all men by these presents that we Margret Bratchey John Hall are jointly and severally holden and firmly bound and obliged unto John Tomas Junr Esquire.  Ordinary of 96 district in the State aforesaid.  the sum of two thousand pounds Sterling, to be paid to the said John Thomas Junr or his sucefsors for the time being in the said office of his attorney or afsigns, to which payment will and truly be made we bind ourselves & each of us jointly and severally firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated the            day of              1783 and in the Eighth year of american Independence ________
Whereas Administration of all & singular the Goods & Chattels rights & Credits which were of Arthur Bratchey deceafed was lately committed by the said John Thomas Junr unto the said Margret Bratchey ______
The Condition of the foregoing obligation is such that if the said Margret Bratchey do and shall will and truly Administer all & singular the Goods and Chattels rights & Credits which were of Arthur Bratchey deceafed and which shall come into the hands or pofsifsion of her the said Margret Bratchey to be Administered, and make distribution of what shall remain after payment of the debts and funeral expences of the said deceafed in a due course of law.  Then this obligation to be void and of none effect or remain in full force & virtue ____

} By John Thomas Junr Esquire Ordinary of said district To Robert Hanna Esquire Impofing special Trust & confidence in your care and Circumspection hair by these presints given unto you the said Robert Hanna full power to swear three freeholders to appraise the Goods and Chattels of Arthur Bratchey deceafed, as shall be brought before you by Margret Bratchey, Administratrix of the said deceafed's estate and certify the same by signing your name to the annexed probate for that purpose.

These are to authorise and impower you, or any three of you, to repair to all such places within this district as you shall be directed unto by Margret Bratchey. Administratrix of all and Singular, the Goods & Chattels, Rights and Credits of Arthur Bratchey Deceafed.  Wheresoever any of the Goods & Chattels of the said deceafed are within the said places and which shall be shown unto you by the said Administratrix, and thus view and there view and appraise the same, being first sworn to make a true and perfect Inventory & appraisement thereof, and cause the same to be returned under the hands of any three of you unto the said Margret Bratchey, within sixty days from the date hereof
      Given under my hand and Seal the Seventh day of November 1783 and in the Eighth year of Amn. Independence
