WWWCentaur Board Posting # 1111

The following posting was made on April 23, 1998.

The were-spheres are either gone or have shrunk a lot. That's the preliminary diagnosis using portable equipment from 'Arnold's' veternary practice. We are hoping to get better images tonight or early tomorrow when the rest of the E-team will be in.

With only four E-team members available, we haven't dared to go in for a full scan. Our tests have been limited to basic fluid/tissue sampling and two biopsies.

To prepare for the full scan I've been practicing my walking and running. My foalish body is all legs and I'm having some problems adjusting to them. I'm currently wearing bell boots to protect my hooves from my hooves.

Practice had helped my ability to move. If I don't think about how my legs work I can walk, trot and canter in a straight line. I have to be very careful about turning though. Even with the weight loss my human torso is a bit large for my foalish body. It would have been even worse if I still had the 'exotic dancer' torso.

A special note: 'Arnold' happened to be using a video camera when I spun out at a fast walk. I was attempting to turn a corner without coming to a complete halt. I overbalanced, got my legs tangled and went down hard.

I would have bruised or broken more than my dignity if my landing spot wasn't a soft one. Unfortunately the landing spot was also the biggest, stickiest mud hole in the paddock. I was a mess when I staggered clear.

'Arnold' kept the camera running while 'Anita' helped me clean up. A hose bath in a corner of the paddock transformed me from a mud monster into a foalish waif. A sponge bath in the barn changed the waif into a centaur filly at an awkward age. (Newborn/Adolescent/Forty Something) Intense grooming, centaur appropriate clothing and falsies changed the centaur filly into Misty, the 'exotic dancer,' wearing her 'pony girl' costume.

Parts of the tape may end up on a national 'Best Home Video' program as a 'fantasy' entry. The fall and the mud monster parts are so funny I had to wrap my arms around a post to keep from collapsing on the barn floor.

It will have to be edited though. In the mud monster segment 'Arnold' got an excellent shot of me relieving myself. (Useful information from a scientific viewpoint. Extremely embarassing from a personal viewpoint.)

I'm still a newborn foal when it comes to bowel and bladder control. That's going to be a big problem when I'm out in public.

A lesser problem is the limit the change has placed on my diet. I can consume equine vitamins, mare's milk formula and limited amounts of fresh vegetables. Anything else makes me nauseous.

I've got to go now. 'George' has arrived with part of a disguise I'll be using later.
