Let's Begin

Greeting Card Set I - G 05

"Let's Begin"
Tokyo, Tokyo-To
At the start of a sumo tournament, wrestlers are introduced by the referee (gyoji) as they parade around and stop to face the audience. This is one of the best photo opportunities at a tournament.

"Let's Begin" is one in a series of photographs depicting life in Japan. As an artist, I enjoy the hands-on experience of painting directly on my prints. By highlighting the focal points, I’m able to present an image that’s unique and distinguishable from coloured photographs.

Greeting cards are ¥250 each.
