Jazz As A Motivational Tool was
created after several years of working with the development of my daughter Terri Lyne
Carrington. Starting at the age of five, I discovered that she had a special talent that had to be developed without interfering with her childhood.
At age ten, I knew she was really serious about playing music. By the time she was eleven, Terri Lyne received a life time scholarship to the Berklee College of Music.
A year later, I decided to share her talent and good fortune with other kids across America. Terri and I toured the East Coast promoting Jazz music and motivating kids so they could be the best they could be at what ever their interest in life might be.
After witnessing the success of this process, I feel Jazz As A Motivational Tool should continue to reach out and touch as many kids in America as possible.
