Finding the BackList

Sources for Hunting the Scarce

Finding Loretta's backlist can be quite a challenge. I was lucky to
have discovered her when I did for, at the time, her Regencies
were a bit easier to find. As it was it took me three years
to find my first copy of ISABELLA, which, to me, was by far
the most difficult book to find.

Given time and patience I don't believe that there is a book out there
that can't be found. To help things along I've
provided some of my favorite Book Search Engines to forge the battle.
Good Luck!

BIBLIOFIND -- databank of used titles ranging from romance to research

ADVANCED BOOK EXCHANGE -- very much like Bibliofind

ALIBRIS-- which replaced Interloc with purchases made directly to them

MY UNICORN -- a beautiful site and great source for older regencies

AVON ROMANCE -- sometimes you can find brand new older titles directly from the publisher

AMAZON.COM -- AMAZON.com will search for out-of-print books, also.

BOOKSEEK -- I haven't tried this one personally. It was provided by MCat

ACSES -- This one seems to be like AMAZON.com. Again, provided by MCat.

BOOKAHOLICS -- Provided by MCat.

POWELLS -- Provider of new and used books. Provided by MCat.

NEW AND PREVIOUSLY OWNED BOOKS -- Provider of new and used books.

A special thanks to LORDDAIN list member MCat for providing the LChp with new
Search Options! Thanks Mary!

I hope these links help in your quest.
I've found quite a few hardcovers of Loretta's Regencies.
Plus, books by other authors such as Linda Howard, Jayne Ann Krentz
and Margaret Way, just to name a few.
