Bro. Joe came home from Lairmore N.D. and went back the

10th. We were very sorry that he could not stay longer.

I was appointed administrator of uncle Martin's estate.

I was installed as Clerk of Camp No. 5455 M.W.A. at Oak

Park.

Friday, January 19, 1900

Bro. Joe came home for a few days visit. He will go to

Kalispel Montana in a few days. Sorry to see him go so far

away but our family gets more scattered every day.

Saturday, March 03, 1900

I started with Dean and several other men for Idaho. I was

sorry to leave Manda and the babies for I know they will be

very lonesome without me.

Monday, March 26, 1900

We arrived at Spokane Wash. Very nice city. I like it very

well.

Tuesday, March 27, 1900

We went to ??Vollmer and set up the tent and commenced

camping.

Thursday, March 29, 1900

Anthony and I hired two ponies and went up in the hills 20

miles to the Mica Mines. Looked around there a little saw

some nice timber and came back the 30.

Monday, April 02, 1900

Burke, Gibson and Ross left us and went to Spokane.
