A visitor (July 2005) was doing research on a 1968 Cougar and came across this ad in the July 17th,1968 Washington Post.The Ad for a limited edition California Mod Mustang which was placed by Shelton Ford in Bethesda Maryland.

Looking at the ad of the Washington Post dated July 17th 1968 it appears that a very "vivid" Vinyl top was added along with the body stripes from a High Country /California Special with delux wheel covers,a most interesting Mustang indeed!

The ad states these Mustangs were in Limited Quantity.
