There is no doubt in my mind that Eve.com was one of the best companies that I have worked for. With a great and intelligent team I have learned so much with this group. My duties here were to code and build pages with HTML and JHTML. I chose to work here because I wanted to learn more skills by advancing in HTML, JHTML, and JSP. I also wanted to see how challeging it is to work on an e-commerce site. Here is the main page of Eve.com that I built on 10.01.00.

ATG Dynamo was the backbone used in the entire Eve site. I learned JHTML to create pages and to produce dynamic templates. I found out that by using droplets within the HTML, new pages would be created instantly. This of course cuts down in making multiple pages. Here is one example that I wrote to pull up the earring section under jewelry. This page went live on 10.01.00.

When building static pages I used Macromedia Fireworks and Dreamweaver. Working at Eve, I used Fireworks for the first time and I love it. Usually I hand code my HTML however I believe that both programs speeds up the process when creating any pages. This page was used for an email promotion that was sent out in 5.01.00.

On 06.01.00 I worked on a redesign project. I pretty much built pages and wrote code for new dynamic templates for the navigation on the site. This was a great learning experience since it involved working with a team of highly professional web developers whereas I was a one man show at my previous job.
