Top Site Awards
As our members already know, the Companions of the Unicorn are dedicated to the expansion of role playing games in Canada. With the increasing popularity of PBEM (play by e-mail) games, our members are always on the lookout for new and interesting sources of news and information. Consequently, the Council of the Companions decided to launch our own World Wide Web Top Site Awards. Awarded on merit, these awards will be offered in two categories:  The Companion Top Trek Site Award is granted to a site featuring the univerrse created by the late Gene Roddenberry with an emphasis on gaming or featuring elements of a certain interest to gamers.  The Companion Top Fantasy Site Award is granted to a site featuring content based or dealing with Fantasy concepts including such things as: images, adventures, resources, and more. All content should put an emphasis on gaming or be of a certain interest to gamers. Winners are selected on the basis of design, conception, and content, with an emphasis on information design and visual aesthetics. The sites selected will get the previledge to display our site award logo marking the appropriate ranking (from 1 to 5). Who could ask for anything more? TOP |
