Rahvin

Little of Rahvin’s life before during to the Shadow is known.  He was named Ared Mosinel.  Rahvin’s major weakness was his fondness for women.  He was also susceptible to flattery.  People frequently rose quickly in his administration by flattering him.  However, he was quick to remove people who were too unsuited for their duties.

Rahvin preferred diplomacy and manipulation to any kind of open conflict.  One of the things which is known for certain about Rahvin is that he had a tendency to use Compulsion.

Since his release...

After being released from the Bore, Rahvin established himself in Andor.  He used Compulsion on Queen Morgase Trakand, and ruled Andor from behind the throne.  He also plotted to kill Morgase’s daughter Elayne Trakand, a plan which never achieved its goal.

Rahvin, like others of the Forsaken, fell to Rand al’Thor.  Unfortunately for him, though, he was killed with balefire.  He is forever out of the reach of the Great Lord of the Dark; even the Lord of the Grave cannot save someone from balefire.
