| Greetings visitor, we are the Battle Lords of Ashtaroth. We set upon the ruling council of The OverSeer. Each province of Ashtaroth chooses a champion to compete for the battle lord's position beside The OverSeer. Our duties to the kingdom are to protect the realm from it's enemies. |
| Every three years, 2 of the 6 battle lords must defend their position from a contender of the province under his care. The contenders are chosen by the people. No election is held. The only way a contender can earn the right to challenge is by the voluntary approval of the citizens of the province. |
| This assures the people that their mightiest champion represents them before The OverSeer. |
