StormName: Ororo Munroe Known Relatives: mother: N'dare Munroe(deceased)... father: David Munroe(deceased) Group Affiliation: The Uncanny X-Men First Appearance: Giant size Xmen #1 Personal Allies: The X-Men, Yukio, Achmed El-Gibar, Logan (I can't help myself, I had to include it). Enemies: Too many to mention... Personal Enemies: The Shadow King, Candra, Marrow, Nanny and the Orphan Maker. Power: The ability to manipulate all forms of phenomenas connected to the weather. Weapons of choice: Usually lightning bolts and winds. Ororo was born in New york.However her father recieved a journalist job in Africa and so at the age of (?) Ororo and her movied to Africa.When Ororo was(?) a plane crashed into their home killing her parents and trapping her underneath the rubble.This traumatised Ororo so much,that till this day..she suffers from claustraphobia(fear of enclosed spaces).After her parents death,she joined a group of young thieves lead by Achmed El-Gibar. The master thief taught Ororo everything he knew, and so Ororo became know as the best thief in Cairo. The Shadow King then enrolled her as his personal thief, but Ororo escaped him influence and since then he's been Ororo's personal Nemesis (hehehe Sorry Silver I couldn't resist). She first met Proffesor Charles Xavier, when she happened to pick his pocket one day. Using his mental powers, he caught her easily. She would not see him again for another 10 years durring which time Ororo left Cairo and went to Kenya. There her elemental powers manifested, which she used to help, care and provide for the people of the area. She then came to known as The Goddess Ororo, the Windrider. Ten years pass, and Xavier returns, asking her to join his X-Men. With the X-Men she becomes known as Storm. After Cyclops left the X-Men, Storm took over as leader (Where she belongs DAMMIT!!). When the morlock leader, Callisto, kidnapped Angel (wuss), Storm led the X-Men down into the Morlock tunnels to rescue him. There she was forced into a duel to the death with Callisto over the freedom of Angel and Kitty Pryde. The battle for the leadership of the Morlocks, concluded with Callisto being stabbed through the heart. She only narrowly escaped death with help of the Morlock Healer. Storm, being the victor, became leader of the Morlock ('cause she's just so damn good!). When she offered the Morlocks a place in Xavier's School for gifted students, they declinded (ungreatful wretches!). So she left Callisto in charge of the Morlocks durring her absence. Though Callisto was leader in Storm's abscence, she still obeyed Storm's orders. When her fellow X-Man, Rogue, was wrongfully accused of killing a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, Henry Gyrich (what is he anyway) had a government employed mutant named Forge, build him a neutralizer device,which cancelled out mutant powers. Gyrich fired this weapon at Rogue, and Storm selflessly shoving her out of the way, took the blast herself. Forge, having disagreed with Gryich about the use of his invention, took Storm to his penthouse in Dallas, Texas. It was there that Storm learned it was Forge who had built the Neuralizer and left. However Ororo was a hero and she saved Forge from a band of shadow witches that desired Forge's sanctum of power. Before she left, Storm vowed to return later and extract vengance upon Forge . She returned to Africa to do some soul searching .There she became the godmother of her new found friend, Chani, after she help birth and then save her son.There too she gained spirtitual peace. (Oh she also gave up Godhood,when Loki kidnapped her to be the New Thor/thundergod of Asgard,to return to her friends). She soon returned to lead the Xmen, though she still possesed no powers. Cyclops (weenie) was unwilling to relinquish the position, so Storm and Cyclops battled for leadership of the X-Men. The fight ended with Storm the victor and RIGHTFUL leader of the X-Men. After his defeat, Cyclops went to lick his heels, with his wife and son (who shall remain nameless....I refuse to sully this bio with mention of...her name and anything to do with her cursed genes). Forge's personal Nemesis( heheheheh I'm on a role), the Adversary, trapped Storm and Forge it another dimenson. During their one year exile in this other world, Storm went on a spirit quest of her own, and finally returned to Forge. Upon their reunion, Storm learned that using a device Forge had created she could regain her powers. Though she was afraid to become the untouchable goddes once again, she took the chance and summoned her powers back. Openning an interdimensional portal with her lightning, Storm and Forge went to battle against the Adversary. The X-Men suceeded in defeating him, but it was at the cost of their lives. Forge had to use their spirits to imprison the Adversary within another dimension. Although Forge would not know it for some time, Roma had brought the X-Men back to life and freed the Adversary from his prison. Under Storm's leadership, the X-Men settled in the Australian Outback and operated as legends; striking at their foes unawares. For a short time they were happy, but eventually their own private world began to fall apart... The X-Men, still living in Australia, were attacked by Nanny and the Orphan Maker. The villians, took over the minds of all the X-Men, except Storm, whose will was too indominable to be conquered. Though Storm suceeded in freeing her fellow X-Men and driving Nanny away, she decided to pursue the fleeing vilians. Colossus freed Havok from his robotic armour and still groggy from Nanny's control, fired at the same ship Storm was attacking. The ship exploded. Frantically searching through the wreakage, the X-Men found Storm's charred body. Believing Storm dead, the X-Men continued to defend a world, that feared and hated them. Eventually the team became scattered throughout the world after passing through the Siege Perilous. However, Storm was NOT dead! She was, in fact, reverted to childhood and her memories of the X-Men were lost. They returned after she and ,her new found friend, Gambit, defeated Nanny and the Orphan Maker (she totally kicked ass!). The two returned to the X-Men, around the time of the X-tinction Agenda storyline. During which Storm was subject to a fake mutate process by a Dr Moreau in order to stop Cameron Hodge from destroying Genosha. Storm was returned to her normal age and with her help, the X-Men were able defeat Hodge. Later Forge came to work for the X-Men. He proposed to her, but before she could give her answer, he retracted it and jilted her (Bastard!) to go live with Mystique instead. Her answer would have been yes. When the X-Men faced Gene Nation, Storm came to know that their leader, Marrow, was once a little girl who was present on the night Storm took the leadership of Morlocks. Marrow stated in no uncertain terms that she was angry at Storm for what she did with the leadership and accused her of abandoning them. Marrow issued a challenge to Storm. In order to save the lives of many humans she had to remove Marrow's heart....which was the detinator for the bombs Gene Nation had planted all over the subways. Left with no other choice, Storm decimated Marrow in battle and ripped out her still beating heart. (I don't know what went on in her limited issue) During a recent storyline,Candra an ancient external, kidnapped a child Storm had helped in Unlimited#7. Candra did this in order to force Storm to return her 'heart', that Storm had stolen in her wayward youth. However Storm overcame Candra and destroyed her heart and Candra along with it.
