GINA C. BRYSON
Hidden Sense

Of my own ability, I am not so sure,
worthlessness being my first steps.
Another small drop of dna explanations
where breath is often taken for granted.

I can see The Potter has made me,
that dust doesn't weep but for the Maker,
gives me another reason for perfecting
the internal contents of my upcoming persona.

I know my body wearing with the tide
and outwardly we all wash away.
So choose to live from this simple awareness
where burdens of Love lift the invisible heart
and foolish men laugh at my lack.
