Here are some of my favorite pictures of me as I have grown. When I was 9 months old I was christened at Little Flower Catholic Church. My godmother bought my christening gown.Ashley pic 1985

This picture was taken in 1994. I was in fourth grade. I won a contest that year and was able to spend the night at my teacher's home. We had a lot of fun. Her husband was very funny! My goal through my elementary school years was to make straight A's on my report card by the end of my elementary years. I accomplished that goal. I graduated from fifth grade earning a straight A report card. This is something that I am very proud of! I was then ready to set new goals for my middle school years.

Middle school has proven to be a challenge for me. I have found that I need to concentrate more and be very organized. There is much more freedom with changing classes and having a locker. I have made a lot of new friends. I am in a year round school. We are in school 9 weeks then out for 3 weeks, in 9 weeks, out 2 weeks, in 9 weeks, out 3 weeks, in 9 weeks, then out 5 weeks for summer. I have played the flute for the last two years. This last school year I attended my first solo/ensemble contest. Our ensemble was awarded first place ribbon medals. I have stayed on the B honor roll for the last two years and my goal for my last year is to do the best that I can and strive for all A's on my report card.

WOW! I can't believe my middle school years are done and I'm on my way to the high school. I am so excited! I finished with a "B" average. I have really enjoyed being in band. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends, seeing friends from elementary school, and being in marching band.

Being at the high school has been very exciting so far. I love playing my flute in marching band even though it's hard at times but I've learned a lot of patience and tolerance. I'm looking forward to getting my learner's permit and starting the 10th grade. Mom and dad bought us a car but Amanda has to drive me everywhere right now. A friend of my mom's gave me two new pets...a Parrotlet named Cricket and a Love Bird named Pretty Boy

.

This is me and Cricket.
