Music-"Save The Best For Last"
We were married on February
14, 1981 in Patrick's parents home. We wanted to buy a
home but the Veteran's Administration would not approve
the loan unless we were married. We had two weeks to plan
a wedding before the closing. We had a very small
wedding-just family and friends. Very simple and
inexpensive. But what a fun day it was! We have since
been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Amanda and
Ashley. They are the joy of our lives! |

About
Patrick
I'm 45 years old. I am a
carpenter and have worked commercial and residential construction
since 1980. I am currently employed by a residential custom home
builder as a warranty technician. In my spare time I enjoy
helping elderly people with small odd jobs around their home. I
enjoy 60's and 70's music. My favorite group is Crosby, Stills,
Nash & Young, and I enjoy many others from that era.

About
Shirley
I am 44 years old. I
have been a school bus driver for 11 years, and I love it! I also
develop the safety programs for our transportation department. I
have developed a bus driver handbook, the Buster School Bus
Safety Program for elementary students, the Emergency Evacuation
Procedures and Training, and am currently developing a Behavior
Management Training program for drivers.

I am also very involved
with Girl Scouts, and PTA. I love camping, hiking, being
outdoors, and doing fun things with my daughters. I enjoy a
variety of music from 60's through today. I love spending time
with my girls. Medical complications during both pregnancies
almost caused me to lose both of them. I thank God every day that
I have them in my life. Being a mother to them has been the
greatest joy I could ever imagine experiencing. In my spare time
I love learning more about my computer and the internet and I am totally addicted to scrapbooking!

This is my daily
poem!!
Bus
Driver's Prayer
Please
Lord, watch over me this day. Please help me remember to watch
all five mirrors, two dozen windows, eight gauges, six warning
lights, six dozen faces and three lanes of traffic, and to keep a
third eye open for wobbling bicycles and daydreaming pedestrians,
especially teenagers wearing head-sets who are in another world.
Please Lord, help me hear all train whistles, trucks and
automobile horns, police sirens, and the two-way radio. Please
Lord, give me a hand for the gear lever, the steering wheel, the
route book, the radio microphone, and the turn signal lever. And
Lord, please grant me the self-control to keep my hands away from
Johnny's neck. And one more thing, please don't let Mary be sick
all over the bus. And finally, Lord, please watch over us all so
that we can do it again tomorrow. Amen.
