(2) 6 Jan 1863, in Gilmerton, Fowlis Wester (Free Church), Grace Morris, b. circa 1828, (daughter of William Morris and Christian Reid). Peter died 26 Jan 1880, Perth Infirmary (u/r Gilmerton Crieff). Died as the result of "Cardic Dropsy" at 4.00am, aged 63.

    Duncan McLean, aged 43, was shown to be head of the house, a farmer of 75 acres and b. in Perth Fowlis.

    This census showed that Duncan had a wife Margaret aged 36, five sons, five daughters and three servants. The house in which they lived was said to have four windowed rooms.
