(2) 24 Aug 1861, in Longford (Wesleyan Mission), Tasmania, Issabella Immirrie Morris, b. 12 Dec 1842, Dunblaine, Fospershire, bapt. 25 Dec 1842, Monzievaird And Strowan, Perthshire, (daughter of James Morris and Helen Widderspoon) occupation: Nurse in 1908, d. 19 Sep 1926, Echuca, buried: Echuca: Gr.18, Sec.E. Alexander died 10 Feb 1910, Echuca, buried: 11 Feb 1910, Echuca: Gr18, Sec 3E.

    During 1860, Alexander migrated to Tasmania leaving his son Peter behind in Scotland.

    According to shipping documents, Alexander and Isabella Morris arrived in Tasmania as "Bounty" passengers aboard the INDIANA on the 24th April 1860. The INDIANA departed Glascow on the 24th December 1859 (It is not known if Alexander and Isabella knew each other prior to departure)

    Arrival documents indicate that:

    i. Alexander was a ploughman, aged 24, Presbyterian, able to read and write and a native of CREIFF.

    ii. Isabella was a dairymaid, aged 18, Presbyterian, able to read and write and a native of CREIFF.

    Janet McConnachie

    Ref: 1851 cens. Kinnoul Co. Perth pp 39 indicates that at the time Janet McConachie lived at 21 Mitchell Terrace, she was an unmarried daughter aged 22.

    5. Peter McLean b. 19 Nov 1855, Fowlis Wester, Perthshire, Scotland, m. 22 Nov 1881, in Glascow, Lanark, Scotland, Jemima Smeaton, b. 1859, d. 1931. Peter died 1918. At the time of his marriage Peter resided at 115 North Montrose Street, Glascow and Jemima resided at 55 Bain Street Glascow.
