1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teasp salt
1 teasp baking powder
1 teasp cinnamon
1/4 teasp cloves
2 cups flour
2 cups raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Mix ingredients in order given, beating well.
Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking
sheet. Bake about 10 minutes
1/2 cup sugar
1 teasp vanilla
1/4 teasp salt
1/2 teasp baking powder
1 cup flour
blanched almond halves
Mix ingredients well, in order given. Form
into small balls. Place balls on ungreased
baking sheet and press an almond half on
top of each.Bake for about 20 minutes.
