About Me

Hi! My name is Jenny Bristow, and I live in Searcy, Arkansas. I am freshman at Harding University ,and am majoring in Psychology I love to go hiking, and one of the best things I've ever done in that was hike on the Appalachian Trail. I love animals-- I have 5 Quarter Horses that are a lot of fun, as well as some cats and two dogs. I also like to act, and have been in several plays. Other than that, I like to just hang out, spend time with my friends and playing on the computer.
The most important thing about me:

I was baptized for the forgiveness of my sins, as we are commanded in the scriptures. We are told in Acts 2:38"Repent and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"

After we hear the gospel- the good news that Jesus Christ came to earth, lived, as a man, a perfect and sinless life, was crucified on a Roman cross, and after three days He ROSE from the dead!- we must believe, as we see in John 6:47"Truly, Truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life."

We must then repent of our sins, as we are told in Acts 17:30"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men everywhere that all should repent"

Once we have repented, we must then confess before men that Jesus Christ is Lord, as we are commanded in Matthew 10:32 "Everyone therefore who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven." We also find in Romans 10:9-10 "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

The last step leading to salvation is baptism, as shown in Mark 16:16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved, but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. " We are also ask, as in Acts 22:16"And now, why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name" Since "all scripture is inspired by God"(2 Timothy 3:16) and none of these commands are any greater, or any less than, any of the others, all scripture is equal and we cannot follow one part over another. If you haven't believed on Christ, repented of your sins, confessed Him as your Lord, and put Him on in baptism, there is no oppurtunity like the present! Do you know, without a doubt, where you would spend eternity if you were to die right now? Are you sure? Click here! I am. I know that when I die I will go to spend eternity in heaven with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you don't know, please, get your life right with God now!
