Anthem: Song about blind rebellion against nothing in paticular.
Story Behind the Song:
It was called Anthem so people would sing along to it. Unfortunately this plan didn't quite work. An interesting little fact is that this song once had another part to it, but Mark decided that it was too long. The song clocks in just under a minute, and it was too long, now that's punk. Safe to say the live version was way faster than what appears on the record.
She's So Trendy: If you hate trendy people, then this song is for you.
Story Behind the Song:
We don't like trendy people. This song is a testament to that fact.
Campy: This is a happy little number formely entitled "So You're Doing This Girl"
Story Behind the Song:
This song was orginaly mentioned as a joke during a phone conversation, but was instantly turned into a reality a short time later. Since it seems that all emo bands have a song about one of their friends ruining their friendship by dating a girl, we felt that we needed a song that would fit into that genre. So Christian wrote "So You're Doing This Girl." However, the song recieved it's name "Campy," when Norman used that same word to describe the song. A special note is the fact that Christian sings/screams this song. Enjoy!
