Paul Morra's "Breakaway" Bus!

Eric Meyer's Stretched Bug with WILD Paint!

Michael Lattanzi's "V Dubba Trubba"!

There is a collection of photos that show: another front-end shot; the top/front of the super-custom chassis; the rear-end of the super-custom chassis; the rear-end with body on; and another angle of the rear with body on. Those tandem rear wheels and simple, but complimentary paint graphics really spotlight this one. Matchbox rubber wheels are a nice touch.

John Hetzel's Blue/"Z"-Striped Bus!

This is a donation from John Hetzel for the family of John Brecka who passed away February 12, 2000. Nice, basic custom with a satin-type paint finish.

Fat Boys Customs' Flip-Front 1/4-Miler Bug!

JP's Green Johnny Lightning Bus!

JP took the Bus and chopped the top, lowered it and gave it a great graphics treatment that enhances that beautiful base-color!

Two-tone Blue over Black Bus!

E.Nani's Bug!

This is the first custom that has a REMOVEABLE decklid! A sacrifice 2nd car provided it. Nice, unique touch. Please e-mail e.nani about this custom.

Kraz' Rainbow Bus!

This features a newer favorite paint scheme for Kraz, with its rainbow effect going from front-to-back!

Kraz' "Out-of-this-World" Bus!

This is probably one of Kraz' best pieces. It features blue-fade-to-black paint with a checkered pattern ripping through! More views of it are seen here and here!

Kraz's "Ripped Bus"!

Kraz took the unaltered Bus casting and added a distinctive paint job, resembling a scallops-meets-flames look. It's a must see! Please e-mail Kraz to let him know your appreciation of his work!

Night's Customs' "Sunset Bus"!

This one is blue with headlight/taillight detailing. The real kicker is the hand-done mural on each side of a setting sun, complete with waves. Be sure to see it for yourself!

Night's Customs' "Cracked & Happy" Bus!

Night's Customs has used the expensive flip-flop paint by DuPont® along with yellow base paint that seems to be cracking away. The smiley face just adds to the playfulness of the piece. Good job!

Night's Customs' Pro Show Bus!

While not a VW Bus, I couldn't help but include it among the Customized VWs Pages because of its obvious graphics influence.

Kugerand-inspired Bus!

This one is courtesy of King of the Road Antiques! The Krugerand is a gold coin from South Africa. The Bus' 24K paint job with custom card in protective box comes with a real 22K 1/10 oz gold Krugerand. Very unique and desireable.

Carlos Colon's Flatbed Bus/Bug Pennzoil Racing Set!

He has gone all-out on making this a perfectly matched set of racing equipment! Another photo of the accompanying Bus is seen here. Carlos provided another photo of the Bug and hauler here. Nice bodywork on that Bug and flatbed hauler!

Same creator as the Bus to the left, but this one has a little extra--it's been modified into a pickup truck! Another stunning overall appearance here.

Gaffy2's Vertical-scallop MB Getaway Bus!

It's got a dark blue base with vertically-painted yellow & white-shadowed scallops. Check-out the top-side, revealing the interior-dominating engine and this rear-end view! Shweet diorama sets the mood.

REAL-Wood Bus model!

Talk about all-out customs! This is a definite stand-out, one-off piece that ANYONE with a pulse and aircooled blood would want to drool over. Absolutely beautiful finishing on the wood and joints. Maniac Mike's Yellow Crew Cab with Surfboards!

Maniac Mike outdid himself on this one! He took the Matchbox Bus casting, and removed the middle of the roof section to create this crew cab. Check-out the real-wood bed, the front-end and the driver's side with boards! It's one of the first, folks!

Maniac Mike's Two-Tone Tangerine '62 Matchbox Beetle!

Pleasing color-combo of tangerine and off-white, along with some RC wheels. Detailed to the max and rolls well.

Maniac Mike's Gold-Green Bug!

Maniac Mike lowered it slightly and added lace wheels. Not to mention the special-mix light gold-green paint! Another view of the rear is here.

Slaters took a beater Beach Bomb and smoothed the rear, modified the windows, and made it the size of a dragster chassis. Nicely-done blue paint job, too!

Nikaido's Surf Bug w/ boards
!

Thanks for this two-tone sleeper. That stinger exhaust gives away the power that could be silently lurking under that decklid. Here's another view of the car provided by Nikaido!

Wild Customs' Multi-Layered-Flame/Metallic Bus!

tin-knocker's Hand-Painted Pokemon Bus!

Latching-on to that summer/fall/winter 1999 craze, here is tin-knocker's meticulously painted Pokemon Bus. It fetched a price any Pikachu would envy, once he set it up to sell. Another angle of it is here.

Toy Master's Pop-top Maisto Bus!
