Near the End of the Road
on the Northwest Coast

The second day we were on Kauai, we drove to the end of the highway on the northwest coast of the island where the Na Pali Cliffs begin. This photo was taken between Princeville and
the End of the Road. Although it was a cloudy day and had been raining, Skid and I both got some really good pictures. I think this is one of my better shots.

This is a view looking toward the south from the End of the Road. The Na Pali Cliffs are beautiful from any angle. Some of the cliff tops served as the island of Bali Hai in the movie South Pacific.
