WELCOME TO MY GERMANY PAGE!

During the summer of 1998, I spent a month living in Germany with a wonderful family. My host sister, Hannah, and I went everywhere. The town I stayed in was a teeny tiny little village of 1,000 residents called Duggendorf, located in Bavaria, two hours away from both Nürnburg (Nuremberg) and München (Munich). The Gymnasium (upper school) I attended was the Johann Michel Fischer school in Berglengenfeld. The closest city other than Berglengenfeld was Regensberg, where Hannah and I went many times. Most of the other towns mentioned are small towns located around Bavaria. If I have any mistakes, or if you can fill in any names I have wrong, email me!

Here are some of the pictures from my trip to Germany, as well as descriptions.

If the link is goofed up, it's my fault. My proctologist hasn't found the Link Checker Fairy yet. The general thing is, for example, r1i001. That stands for roll 1, image 01. If you want to see roll 6, image 10, type in r6i10.jpg. You're smart. Figure it out.

28 My group, bored, about to go into the interrogation chamber

29 The Stocks

30 Torture devices and a tour guide... Hmm...

(from left to right, the torture devices are: a chair with spikes on the seat; a long ,ladder-style rack; a Spanisch Esel (Spanish donkey - a man was placed with one leg over each side of a wood board (with sharpened edge pointing up) and heavy rocks were placed on his feet); another form of rack; and a *really* boring, long-winded tour guide)

10 Lucas and me on the tower. I told him to get out of the photo, but he threatened to throw me off the tower.
