Brian Bell
HOMETOWN-Knoxville, TN
DOB-Dec. 9th 1968
-----brian bell plays the guitar, and sings some back-up vocals in weezer. he was born and raised in the grand ol’ state of tennessee, and ever since he was a young’n he knew he wanted to be a rock star. by the time he was just 4 years old, he caught elvis in concert. he studied “geetar pickin’” from tv programs like “the barneyloo & buster show” and of course... “hee haw”! lil’ brian first learned how to pick ‘n grin on a ukelele his grandmother won at a bingo game.
-----brian’s dad, a “wacky absent-minded professor” and an ex-college dj, tuned lil’ brian into cool music from the 50s and 60s, most of which brian managed to destroy his father’s 45’s with the help of his 1st turntable and a fisher price low-fi stereo system.
-----as time went by, brian began to feel more and more out of place from the normal tennesseean guys. instead of hunting, chewing tobacco, and fish stories, brian preferred to stay home and watch movies. ah, music...movies...and show-biz, all glorified in the city of angels, right where brian went. he was in the band carnival art before he was recruited to fill in jason cropper’s position in weezer, and now is also part of the project the space twins.
