-----Patrick Wilson is the drummer man from Weezer. His hometown is Buffalo, NY, but not if he could help it. Pat has said that the music scene in Buffalo was lame, consisting of mostly cover bands, and bad metal. So, Pat quit his day job and moved to LA with a new friend Pat Finn (now fronts the band winkler in Buffalo), who was responsible for the majority of the members of Weezer meeting.
-----Pat was honored to work with Ocasek and Chris Shaw at the Electric Lady Studios on their debut. Also, Pat recommends that you see Weezer live, because it has more power than the record.
-----Other bands that Pat has played in are The Rentals with Matt, he played a bit with The Rivers Cuomo Band in Boston, and his project The Special Goodness (who’s name comes from an expression he used).
