Although I am no longer a student, up until recently this was an important part of my life and identity.  This is the first year since nursery school that I am not heading back to the classroom, and it definately feels strange. So despite the fact that the student-chapter of my life has come to a close (for now . . . there’s always grad school), it still played an important role in defining who I am.

I earned my Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business, with a major in marketing, in 2002.  Before that, I went to cegep at Marianopolis College.  For anyone unfamiliar with the school system here in Quebec, it works a bit differently than, well, anywhere else in the world. We have elementary school from grades 1-6, then high school from 7-11, then two years of CÉGEP (like a junior college, sort of), then three years of university for most undergrad programs.
