news

August 7, 2003
I’ve been informed that my “public” was demanding an update. So I hope you’re happy now. All three of you.

I hope summer is going well for everyone.  I had an amazing two weeks in Greece for my vacation. Despite getting sick, it was a great trip. My only complaint of course was that it was too short.  The partying on Mykonos and especially Ios is unrivalled, the weather was perfect, the beaches were beautiful, and the atmosphere one-of-a-kind. I posted a few photos from my trip so you can check them out if you’re so inclined.

A few birthday wishes are in order: Happy 22nd to Carolyn last July 4th, and that was a great sushi dinner!  To Jon, happy 24th on July 21st.  Happy 23rd to Ariela tomorrow, August 8th.  Elie’s 22nd is coming up this Sunday, August 10th, so happy happy. Also coming up are Jason’s and Shawn’s 26th birthdays at the end of the month.

This installment of site updates includes a new thought about the danger of labels, and a new review of the movie Nowhere in Africa. I’ve also finally gotten around to replacing my discussion forum with one hosted on a different service, because the old one was too bombarded with advertising to be usable. So feel free to check it out to post comments on anything.

There’s still a month left of summer.  Time to live it up!
