Mon vie

sweet dreams
in the darkness so bright
wings of angels
to be taken for flight


a look to your eyes
catch a soul bursting forth
into life to be lived
without weakness or war

sleep sweet
my angel mon vie
you once held me in your arms
why for now
must i rest upon my knee

a tear does slip
betwinst my lids
where once unknown
a love does live


sweet dreams
in the darkness so bright
wings of angels
to be taken for flight


stars shone bright
upon the moon
two are one
'til mornings bloom


sweet dreams

that entwined within dew
a love's glowing sight
to awaken the weak
entrusted with light

And I lay here in a restelss sleep
Relaying days of listless dreams
If only I had known
The days pass on, an so it goes
Everyone's searching yet, no
one knows.


What we are looking for
in this whispering sleep
Our dreams forget the moment
an' we move on.


Forgotten pasts a redundant flow
The moonlit nights we'll never know
The fortress of our minds unshown
An' on we go, like leaves we blow.


What are we looking for
in a whispering sleep

The wind blows strong,
an blinds our sight
Yet what we see,
is not our plight into it we fall,
Our restless night.
