November 3, 2002 -- The "Alone I Break" video premiered on MTV today with a hour and a half special called MTV Treatment: Korn in which they went through the contest winner making the video. It will be replayed throughout the week on MTV so check your local listings for showtimes. Octiber 13, 2002 -- Korn will release the Hammerstein Ballroom show on DVD on November 19th. This was the album premiere concert that was broadcast to theaters in June. Untoucables will also be re-released around that time with a bonnus DVD that previews the Hammerstein Ballroom DVD. August 7, 2002 -- The third single from Untouchables will be "Alone I Break" and MTV is sponsoring a contest involving directing the video for it. Check out korn.com for all the details. July 6, 2002 -- The video for "Thoughtless" will premiere on TRL this Monday, July 8th. Why TRL again Korn? Use MTV 2 that's what its there for. June 9, 2002 -- Lots to catch up on so here we go: ----- Tomorrow night, June 10th, about 40 theaters across the nation will be broadcasting Korn's album premier event live via satellite. Tickets are 10 bucks, check your local theaters or fandango.com for more information. If the show is sold out as it is in most areas already don't worry, the entire thing will also be broadcast on the internet for free thanks to MTV.com. Now what is the event. It features a 30 minute feature on the making of Untouchables followed by an hour long concert from Korn from an undisclosed location. In all likelyhood the band will play the record in its entirety just as they did with Issues at the Apollo Theater. ----- More tour dates have been announced, check korn.com for details we should have them posted soon. ----- "Thoughtless" will be the second single from the album with the band shooting a video sometime in the next week. The video for "Here To Stay" will be included on the multimedia section of Untouchables. May 17, 2002 -- Not only will all of us Korn fans be jamming Untouchables on June 11th, we will now be cranking up the home theater and our DVD players with Deuce, the long awaited follow up to the Who Then Now? home video, to be released the same day as Untouchables. Deuce will feature the videos for "A.d.i.d.a.s.", "Got the Life", "Freak On A Leash", Falling Away From Me", "Make Me Bad", and "Somebody Someone", along with rare footage from the early days, footage from Woodstock '99, the Apollo Theatre show and more. As a bonus Who Then Now? will also be included in its entirety and remixed into 5.1 digital sound. The original home video is only in Hi-Fi stereo sound. April 24, 2002 -- The video for "Here to Stay" premieres in the U.S. today on TRL on MYV. April 16, 2002 -- Korn.com dropped this news on everybody late but it seems that "Here To Stay" is having it's world premiere everywhere in the world today and tomorrow except in the U.S. The site says to stay tuned for the U.S. premiere date, but check out Korn.com for when it is airing in your country and also look for the official site to relaunch this weekend with new graphics and most likely the cover artwork from Untouchables will debut. Also in tour news Deadsy and Puddle of Mudd will be the opening acts on the tour. March 17, 2002 -- Korn.com has "Here To Stay" up now for everyone to listen to in Windows Media Player format. March 7, 2002 -- Unouchables is now scheduled for a June 11th release. No word on the reason for the delay but we'll just have to wait a bit longer. PC E-Card MAC E-Card February 21, 2002 -- There was some rumors going around that Untouchables was not the title of the album, but Jonathan called into MTV's TRL and confirmed that it is indeed the title. The video for "Here to Stay" will be shot by the Hughes brotheres, who have directed the films Menace to Society, Dead Presidents, and the recent Johnny Depp picture From Hell. It should hit airwaves in late March. February 17, 2002 -- The first single from Untouchables is "Here to Stay" and should be released to radio around February 25th. A video should follow shortly. February 12, 2002 -- According to MTV News, Korn's publicist has announced that the band's fifth record will be released May 14th and be titled Untouchables. U.S. tour dates are expected to be announced soon to follow the recently announced South American dates. |
