ERICA AND ADAM PART I
Adam Chandler came to Pine Valley as the producer of the movie Raising Kane, the autobiography she wrote with Mike Roy. Adam soon became obsessed with the stunning Ms Kane. Meanwhile Erica was determined to play herself in the movie. She manuevered a screen test, but Adam hired an actress named Danielle to play the part. Adam finally gave in and casted Erica in the part and then made plans to make her Mrs Adam Chandler. One man stood in her way- Mike Roy and Adam schemed to get him out of Erica's life by sending Mike on a writing assignment in Tibet. Erica furious with Mike for leaving became interested in Adam and soon the two were married. Mike returned. Suspicious of Erica's devotion to him, Adam put his wife to the test by faking his own death. Believing her husband had died, Erica and Mike were re-engaged. Erica was outraged when she learned of Adam's ploy. Adam demanded she choose between Mike or him and his money. Erica making a wise choice, chose Mike.
