After Erica had broken up with Jack, she had a brief fling with Charlie Brent but broke it up when she couldn't commit to him. Meanwhile Adam who had just divorced Natalie; realized Brooke was out of his life for good. He turned his thoughts once again toward Erica. Erica wanted nothing to do with Adam, but the wily Mr Chandler had shocking news. They were never DIVORCED! He had sent Stuart to the Carribbean to impersonate him in the divorce procedures. Adam threatened to take the news to The National Intruder unless she marry him in a public ceremony. But Erica being just as cunning as Adam was,
hired a phonyminister for the ceremony.
As Mrs Adam Chandler the second time Erica attempted to drive her hubby crazy. Knowing what a control freak he was; Erica went about to make the Chandler Mansion more feminine. Erica drove Adam crazy all right. Hayley finally convinced Adam that he could never force Erica to love him. He finally gave Erica a divorce.
