Special Items

This BOTTLE was discovered by Makoto on the beach. The bottle had floated from another island to Shio Ne beach.  In it, Makoto found a message - "God Bless You.  We are the Beach Boys!"  After she picked up the message, Kaito and Hiromi arrived at their lodging house.  Hence she was convinced that it was the message that brought Kaito and Hiromi (the beach boys) to the lodging house.  She put up this message on the wall of her bedroom.  At the very end of the drama, Makota also placed a written message in a bottle and allowed it to float on the sea - in it was the message, "Thank you for wonderful Summer.  We are the Beach Boys and Girls!"

The building on the left was the LODGING HOUSE where Makoto and her grandfather (Masaru) were staying, which was also where Kaito and Hiromi had worked during the summer. The one of the right was Haruko's BAR CUM KARAOKE, where she worked and where Kaito and Hiromi liked to have a drink.

This NECKLACE in the shape of a dolphin was given by Hiromi to Makoto during their trip to Tokyo to look for Kaito.  Makoto treasured the necklace very much as it was a gift from Hiromi ......
