Special Items

This COMPOSITION was written by Kaito while he was a "guest" in the lodging house.  Since young, Kaito had found it hard to write essays when he had to think of the topic of the essay himself.  This time, however, he wrote this as he felt a sense of closeness to the sea.  Makoto brought this when Hiromi and her looked up for Kaito in Tokyo.  Since Kaito did not see them, Makoto started to recite this poem/essay and finally caught Kaito's attention.  The composition was about the beauty of the ocean.

This is of course Hiromi's CAR which often broke down.   Incidentally, it was during the break-down of the car that Hiromi first met Kaito, when Kaito offered to help him push the car.  Kaito often complained about the condition of Hiromi's car. 

In the show, Hiromi and Kaito teamed up to play in a VOLLEYBALL match.   However, they lost the match by a mere point.

Since then, the two often bicker about who was the one who caused their defeat.

This was the SHIP built of sand by the characters in the show.  Haruko  had wanted to do something so that her son (who did not know that Haruko was his natural mother) would remember his stay at the lodging house (and her) after he grew up.....
