Are you calling me a couch-potato???

I have a great sense of humour, with a real appreciation for irony.  Southpark, the tongue-in-cheek cartoon following the exploits of a group of 7 year olds' in their hometown of Southpark, Colorado, is one of my favourite shows. The lead character, Eric Cartman, is a true star - who can ever forget the line: "You will respect my authorita".

I love most Sci-fi shows that seem to proliferate our TV screens these days. Star trek would be my favourite show, but Babylon 5, Stargate SG1, La Femme Nikita, Xena, Farscape and many others are not forgotten. I don't know why I like these show so much, perhaps it is the escapism, the true fantasy element that lets you know that while this is enjoyable and entertaining, at the same time, it isn't real.

The TV show Frasier, which highlights the amusing relationships within the modern family is one of my favourite shows.  It's snappy, witty and darn-right funny.  The best character in the show has got to be Frasier's brother, Niles - who must make every man who has ever seen the show feel that much more masculine!

Dawson's Creek; the show where the kids know just too many big words.  A charmingly romantic, idiotic and thoughtful show, it shows the complexities of teen relationship and the associated problems of growing up.

Dreamteam is Skyone's new TV show documenting the behind the scenes stuff at an English Premiership football stuff.  But don't be put off, this is just scandal at its best - laugh as each player falls into the other players wives beds or as the evil vice-chairman tries to get the club relegated.  Love it or loath it, I really don't care!
