Why do you have to have a homepage in order to adopt a pet?
You must have a homepage to adopt a pet because the Pet Shop is basically an anime/manga links page where anime fans can find anime pages to browse. The Pet Shop used to be the links page of the Cute Cute Anime Page , but has now grown so much that it turned out to be a unique homepage of its own.
What do you mean by anime/manga-related?
Your homepage must be anime/manga-related, which means that your homepage must be about Japanese Animation ("Anime" is the Japanese word for it) or Japanese Comics ("Manga" is the Japanese word for it.)
Why can't I adopt more than 1 pet for each homepage?
As I said, the Pet Shop serves as a links list. It wouldn't make sense if I put two links to the same homepage...!
Why must you have an anime page to adopt a pet?
Because the Pet Shop is a links list specializing in ANIME LINKS. Can you imagine the Anime Web Turnpike having other kinds of links besides anime?
My page isn't totally dedicated to anime. Is that ok?
Yes. Please put the petshop link in the anime section of your homepage. I will place a link to your anime section in the Pet Owners List.
Are homepages about video games eligible to adopt a pet?
Yes, as long as your page is about Japanese video games, or Anime video games.

Why are your rules of adoption so harsh?
Well... because that's the way it is... the Pet Shop is a links list so that's why you need to have a homepage... and you never see the Anime Web Turnpike with other kinds of links besides anime links - The same rule applies to the Pet Shop.
I couldn't find the pet I wanted. What should I do?
Can't find your perfect pet? Try searching for keywords (eg: the pet's name) in the using the Freefind Search Engine (located below the menu buttons) on the page! If the pet you're looking for isn't in the Pet Shop, then maybe it needs to be made available at the Pet Shop! Just send me email to tell me about the pet, and attach a pic of it along with the email.

Yes, you can adopt a pet. Use the following html fragment on your page IF and ONLY IF your host doesn't allow you to upload pics to your page:

How do I download my pet and put it on my page?
To download your desired pet, just right-click the pet image and choose "Save As..." if you're using Netscape; If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer, just right-click the pet image and choose "Save Target As...". This will allow you to download your pet onto your computer. To put your pet on your page, please follow the detailed instructions on the Info Page .
When should I download my pet and put it on my page?
You should put your pet on your page right after you submit your adoption application form. The Pet Shop link should be on your page as soon as possible, because if I don't see the link when I check your page, your application won't be accepted! It will usually take some time (I am a VERY busy person) before I get around to checking every page that applied for a pet, but please be patient with me! I will eventually get around to checking your page, so please keep the Pet Shop link on your page!
How do I know when my form was submitted?
You'll know your form was submitted when you reach the screen after you press the "Submit Application" button on the form. It should say that your application form was successfully sent...!! If you're having problems with the form, please Email Me with your NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, TITLE OF YOUR HOMEPAGE, URL OF YOUR HOMEPAGE, ORIGINAL NAME OF THE PET YOU WANT, and WHAT YOU WANT TO NAME YOUR PET.
How do I know whether or not I got my pet?
You will know if you got your pet by checking the Pet Owners List . If you still haven't got your pet after waiting for some time, then either your application was not accepted, or I have been tooooooo busy and haven't gotten around to checking your page yet.
Can I reserve a pet until I get my homepage?
Nope. Pets are given out on a First-Come-First-Served basis. It wouldn't be fair if reservation was allowed. And remember, you must have enough content on your page before you can adopt a pet (not just a few links to other homepages etc).
Can I use some of the pet shop images on my own page? I'll give you credit for it!
After a long thought, I have decided not to let anyone use my petshop images. Also, please don't take any pet images unless you are adopting that pet.
How did you come up with this great idea of adopting pets?
Well, it all started when I stumbled on another adoption service on the web. I really wanted to adopt something for my homepage, but unfortunately, that adoption service had already stopped accepting applications. So, I thought about starting my own adoption service, and eventually came up with the idea of adopting anime pets. After the Pet Shop was up on the net, I began to notice a dozen of other adoption services starting on the web...!! The Cute Cute Pet Shop is the first adoption service on the net that has to do with anime. Others came along afterwards, such as Moon Kitty Adoption Service, Adopt-A-Senshi, etc etc...
How can I contribute to the Pet Shop?

Here are a few ways which *YOU* can make the Pet Shop a better place:
1. Adopt a pet for your anime/manga page. You can help make the Pet Shop be the biggest anime links list!
2. Tell me about any anime pets that aren't in the Pet Shop yet. Remember to attach a picture of the pet along with the email.
3. Help me check for broken links in the Proud Owners' List .
4. Nominate the Pet Shop for awards.
5. Participate in the Contests .
