Date: 5th October 1997 Slice Of HeavenWell, were back home now. The cats sung merrily all the way home in the car, along with Beethoven's Appassionata, Pathetique and Moonlight Sonata's. My 'puter is misbehaving again, so I am being patient and will wait till later to log into the net. Ce la vie! My last few days were very relaxing. I had bronchitis but now I'm all better..no antibiotics, no nothing except rest, rest and more rest. I stayed with my parents. Mainly playing games all weekend. I won Manilla, Game of Life, Manilla (2nd time), Backgammon....got pretty dull by the end...but somethings we do to keep oneself and others amused :) . Books...well I started 5 and finished 3. Very interesting books, however each time I picked up my book infront of company, I was passed "an interesting article" from the newspaper to read. The articles were interesting but it took my attention away from the book in hand, each time having to reread the last page...'oh yes, where were we?' syndrome. Be right back..need to wash our king-size Ongaparinka blanket. Okay, so it will take a day or two to get back into the swing of things. Then I shall be back to my usual form. I will be making some changes..hopefully as an improvement. My Granny is much better. Their looking to transfer her to rehabilitation now...That is good news for us! She had a few falls in hospital, but luckily she is okay. We enjoyed being at my parents house, as much as they enjoyed having us over. On Sat night, we went to see 'My Best Friend's Wedding' at the Classic Elsternwick. This cinema has just changed hands. The new owner is the husband of my ex-basketball coach (long time ago though). Prior to the movie, we went to Cafe L'Appertivo and I had a Thick Italian Chocolate, my favourite hot beverage of all time. I wish I knew how they made them. Okay the movie was great, Julia Roberts was in great form, but I still prefer PRETTY WOMEN. After the movie, I went to get some pasta and garlic pizza (yep, I like garlic). Then I went for a drive, over the West Gate Bridge and back to my parents. Funny thing this...A designer of the West Gate Bridge, said that he wouldn't go over it, he said that he didn't trust the design. So did I tell you how I went to the OCEAN? Hmmm..well I loved being there..more about it later. I'm really tired...so I'm going now...Were having pasta napolitana, asparagus and juliette carrots..Hmmm...
