After we left Yellowstone, we met up with some friends from our Bakersfield days. We spent one night as their guests under a real roof  -- the only night we spent in a building between June 17 and August 5th! They had indoor plumbing and everything.

Near West Yellowstone we encountered a Montana traffic jam. There's actually cowboys on horseback behind all that cattle!
