Welcome to the gallery. I was hoping to evoke Homer Simpson’s notorious paean to deep fried circular bits of dough with the title, but if it comes off as the usual fangirl drooling, well, that’s applicable too. You know the drill. Read the snarky caption, click on the thumbnail, do not direct link, yada, yada, yada. EPISODE SIX

Allen’s got the gazing out the window pensively routine down cold.

Allen seethes at King Aston for being such a toadying doink to Zaibach. Either that or he’s got a seriously bad case of constipation.

“I can’t tell, Allen. If he’s grinding his teeth and clenching his fist, should I keep babbling on cluelessly about his brother?.” Allen, Millerna and a mad (what else is new?) Van at the dock.

You’d think Allen would be happier in this scene. Van’s fighting a bunch of ugly mercenaries while he gets to make time with the leading ladies of Esca.

EPISODE SEVEN

I guess it’s not outside the bounds of chivalry to shove aside a righteously irate schoolgirl to chew out your king.

Allen contemplates Millerna’s affections. 'Her sleeves are poofier than mine. Her hair is way bigger than mine. And she’s such a grabby little #$&%@.'

Is it a sin to be too beautiful? Like Fat Man Aston would know anything ‘bout that.

Millerna moves in for the kill. Nothing more romantic than kissing a guy just to freak out a poor little Mystic Moon girl.

Beautiful princess. Romantic nightscape. But nooo…stupid Allen only likes the violet-eyed Aston sisters. Allen and Eries and a lecture about Marlene.

Allen stops the rampaging Dilandau with his fearful symmetry.

In about three seconds, Van’s about to have his ass handed to him. He never does win a man-to-man fight against Allen, does he?

EPISODE EIGHT

The ride’s over and our duo looks lost and annoyed. They must have used Mapquest.com. Figures that the site would have directions for Gaea considering how imaginary the rest of their directions are.

Sure he sucks at the UFO catcher game, but you should see him play Whack-A-Mole.

Allen watches the arriving Zaibach fleet from his prison cell. That’s caged heat, baby!

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Allen achieves the nigh impossible -- getting Millerna to shut up by kissing her. Talk about taking one for the team.*

Allen’s in casual clothing in the jail, but he’s in full uniform in the carriage. So did he take the time during a jailbreak to change into his complex Caeli togs or did he do it in the carriage as a reward to Millerna for helping him escape?

*I should point out that I really don’t hate Millerna. True, she’s a spoiled brat in the first part of the series, but like all the characters, matures quite a bit as time goes on. By the end of the series, she’s grown a lot. What I hate is the Allen x Millerna pairing. I hates it with a passion.
