Note it has to be the night of a full moon, as this is the only time the rock is separated from the landmass. Finally you get to see the Orange and Lemon Groves on the Phassouri plantations, of which there are many. This area is also used to grow grapes, from which the local wines are produced. If you like wine then you should consider tasting at least one bottle of Cyprus wine after all there are many to choose from. Here in this area the local people also grow Melons, bananas, Plums (tomatoes), apples, peanuts and many other crops too.
