January 2002

Buffy, Angel, Giles, Xander, Cordelia were at the Bronze for a wedding reception. The bride and groom were Willow and Oz. It was almost 9:00 and everyone was so happy and excited when Oz yelled "Buffy, Cordelia, all members of the wedding party, its time for pictures."

"Giles, will you take a picture of the bride with her maids?" Oz asked.

"Sure" replied Giles.

After the pictures were taken and Willow and Oz had left for Hawaii. The gang split up and went home. Xander and Cordelia to their apartment and Buffy and Angel to theirs.

Xander and Cordelias apartment

It was getting late, Xander and Cordelia had changed out of their wedding clothes. "I'm going to be sick again." sighed Cordelia as she ran to the bathroom.

"Cordy, you didn't even have any champagne. What is wrong? Do you need to go to the doctor?" Xander asked concerned.

"I don't know whats wrong. I don't want to go to.." Cordelia threw up again "the doctor."

"Too bad you're going. I'll take you after classes tomorrow. Willow and Oz are lucky to get a week off from school." Xander said as he watched her throw up again.

Angel and Buffys apartment

"Do you feel weird about us being the only couple in our group that didn't have a big wedding?" Buffy asked when they got back from patrolling.

"No, why should we feel different?" Angel asked in reply.

"No reason. Are you ready for bed?" she asked.

"No. But you go ahead though. You look tired." he said.

"Okay, nite" she said as she laid down in the bed.

The next morning

"Come on Cordy. You promised you'd go the doctor. I already made the appointment." Xander said to her.

"Oh, fine. Bring up that promise thing!" Cordelia replied.

"After the appointement we'll go see the gang at the library." said Xander.

"Fine, it thats what you want to do" she replied.

The doctor came out of his office. "Mr. and Mrs. Harris we have found the problem." looking at Cordelia he says "You're pregnant."

"Huh, what?" Cordelia stammered.

"You're pregnant." the doctor repeated. "We need to set up some prenatal appointments."

"Woah... shes...you're..." Xander stammered then hugged his wife. Later in the car he said "This is a surprise!" as he drove to the library.

"It is for me, too. But I'm kind of excited. I mean I feel like it's a second chance to make up for the witch I was in High School" Cordelia said with a smile on her face.

When they pulled into the schools parking lot Xander said "Let's tell them the news, okay? I can't wait!

"Hey, you two. Angel will be here in a minute. He's coming through the tunnels. He needed a little extra sleep this morning." Buffy told them as they walked to the library.

"Okay, when he gets here, we have a surprise."Cordelia said smiling.

"I wanted to say that part" said Xander smiling at his wife.

Cordelia gave him a look and he said "Oh Well"

Angel walked in shortly. "Okay whats this surprise?" asked Buffy.

"I'm pregnant!" said Cordelia happily.

"For real?" asked Buffy shocked.

"Yeah! We're going to have a little one!" Xander smiled.

"That's great!" Buffy said sincerely. But she felt a little jealous because she and Angel would not ever be able to have a baby. She gave them both a hug and congratulated them again. Angel noticed the sad look in his wifes eyes.
