      Almost nothing is known of Adrian Corbo's past. Both he and his half- brother, Jared, were wards of Hull House in Orloo, Ontario, before they were recruited by Department H for Alpha Flight. [The two brothers share a common mother. -C]
      Originally a shy, nervous person, Adrian has grown quite a bit through his involvement with Alpha Flight. He is much more self-confident, and will even stand up to his intimidating brother Jared. He has also proven his worth in battle with Alpha serveral times.
      One area where Adrian's nervousness continues is in dealings with the opposite sex. He is currently sharing a mutual attraction with one of the newest Alpha recruits, Lilli a.k.a Ghost Girl. [The situation's actually kinda cute. :) -C]
      During his time with Alpha Flight Adrian instituted a web search for both his father and Jared's. Although Flex claims to have found an answer to the mystery of his father, he did not reveal that information to anyone before the cancellation of Alpha Flight v2. [Flex believes Jared's father to be the deceased mutant known as Unus the Untouchable. -C]
     In Wolverine #142 it was revealed that Flex, along with the other "junior" members of Alpha Flight, is now part of a revamped Beta Flight.
      Adrian Corbo possesses the ability to "flex" all or part of his body into sheets of "organic metal." The edges of these sheets are extremely sharp, and Adrian can also form the sheets into a point. Being hit by the flat of the sheet has the same effect as being hit by a bludgeon. By "flexing" his torso and legs into one large sheet Adrian has also created a protective barrier for his team-mates. The origin of Adrian's abilites is unknown.
