Chapter 233

Mina hadn't expected Gial grab her, but that didn't prevent her from turning away from and rolling off the back of the horsk. She landed with her hands and flipped over. Gial whirled on his horsk as Mina took off in the other direction, she was soon cut off by some other horsemen.

"Ah..geez.." she said. More surrounded her.

She sighed.

Raye meanwhile was muttering things to herself as she ate a soup like substance.

"It really would be best for you to go to the government," The guy said.

"Maybe I will in time," Raye said.

"Then it's out of my hands."

"What is?"

"Your...fate."

"You seem to already know what's going to happen," Raye said her eyes narrowing.

"I merely know what could happen," the guy said. Raye stood up.

"And what would that be?" she asked.

The guy backed up.

"I can't say...I..meant nothing by it."

"Hmm..somehow I think you did mean something," Raye said advancing.

The door swung open. She whirled. Some men dressed like Gial walked in.

"We don't want to fight you," They said.

"Too bad," Raye said kicking the first. She elbowed the second and rushed out of the house. A third lunged at her. She leapt out of the way and hurried down a sidestreet.

"This is all I need," She muttered and kept going. Her pursuers were soon following. I need to find a place to transform, and then I can really show them. Another group of men came down another street. She kicked one and bounced off of him racing down another street.

The group raced after her. She rounded another corner only to find herself facing an armored woman with a large energy sword drawn. Raye stopped.

"Quick..get behind me," the woman said.

Raye really didn't have time to question her and did. The men rounded the corner and stopped at the sight of the woman.

"A royal warrior," one of them said worriedly.

"Disperse," The woman said.

The men all looked at each other and then charged forward. The woman swung into action swinging through two of the men with her sword. They fell to the ground. She kicked a third, and kneed a fourth.

"Mars..Planet Power," Raye said from her standing position. She soon had transformed, but the men were all lying unconcious. The woman turned.

"Hmm..I figured as much," She said.

"Who are you?" Mars asked.

"I am Azura, a warrior," the woman said.

"Uh..I'm called Sailor Mars."

"I see. Please come with me. It's not safe to stay out here."

"I believe it," Mars said.

"Do I need to explain this again?" Serena asked. "I don't know what you're talking about. I've never heard of the zone before, I don't work for either of these two countries you keep talking about. My high school got zapped and I ended up in this field."

"Hmm..you seem to be telling the truth," Visara. "Or you're very well conditioned."

"Conditioned to do what?" Serena asked.

"I don't know..we need to test you to see just where you are from."

"And how are you going to do that?"

"We shall take you to see the wizardess Mirsala," Visara said.

"And where is she?" Serena asked.

"On top of another mountain," Sy said.

"Oh.." Serena said.

"Sy..you and I will take her to see Mirsala," Visara said.

"Uh..okay," Sy said.

"When is someone going to untie me? I'm harmless," Serena said.

"We don't know that for sure yet, I'm sorry," Visara said.

"Me too," Sy said.

"Uh..can I have some more food now?" Serena asked.

Visara sighed.

"No," she said and walked off.

"What's this all about anyway?" Serena asked. "What are you resisting against?"

"I don't know if I should tell you," Sy said. "We're restisting against the other countries who are trying to take over this land. There are several reasons why they want it, and several reasons why we want to keep it. We won't allow any of them to have it. And with the war on, we're able to sneak around and cause trouble. That's what we do."

"Oh..I see," Serena said. "Sounds dangerous."

"That's why we have to be so careful."

"Lucky me," Serena muttered.

A servant came to bring Rick to dinner. When he open the door, he found Guardian Uranus standing there.

"Ah..I see you've changed," the servant said.

"Uh..I figured this would be more appropriate," Uranus said.

"Hmm..indeed," the servant said. "The king is waiting."

The two walked down the hallway and were soon heading down a flight of stairs. Uranus looked in awe at the elegance of the stairway, the various paintings on the wall, everything. He was soon lead towards a doorway flanked by guards. It was opened and he was lead in. There was a massive dining table set up.

"Ah..I see our guest has arrived," a stout man said rising from the end of the table. He walked forward.

"Welcome to my kingdom, I am King East," he said.

"Interesting name," Uranus said.

"Why?"

"Uh..nothing..really..sorry.." Uranus said.

"Very well.." East said. "Please sit."

The king returned to his table. Uranus was lead to a seat and found himself sitting across from Princess Sakuro and beside her, Tijiro.

"I believe you've met my daughter, and my captain of the guard," East said.

"In various ways," Uranus said.

Sakuro scowled at him.

Apparently that hasn't been smoothed over yet. Uranus thought. Tijiro grinned slightly.

"It is an interesting uniform you wear," King East said. "Just what does it signify?"

"Uh..Guardian Scout," Uranus said.

"Hmm..is that a warrior title?" East asked.

"Well yes," Uranus said.

"Honorary, or does it signify an achievable rank?" Tijiro asked.

"Uh..it's kinda both," Uranus said.

"Interesting," Tijiro said.

"Indeed..why don't you explain it," East said.

"Well okay," Uranus said.

"I knew we'd make it out of the forest," Neptune said with a grin.

"I didn't," Pluto said. "Look at how dark it is."

"Darkness is all in the mind," Neptune said.

"Just what does that mean?"

"Bear with me here."

"You know I think I've finally realized those ambiguous emotions I felt towards you all these years was indeed hate," Pluto said.

"Hate huh?" Neptune asked. "Well it's only natural."

"You're taking my expression of hatred awfully well."

"It happens," Neptune said. "I smell something."

"So do I," Pluto said. "It smells like food."

"Yes it does, and where's there's food, there's eating food."

"I guess that's one way of putting it," Pluto said.

"Let's go," Neptune said and the two soon quickened their pace.

Guardian Saturn had finally reached the walls of the city he head been heading towards. He became a little nervous as he saw soldiers on the parapets looking down at him. But there were some people coming and going in other directions. He hoped there wouldn't be trouble. He reached the gate. Some soldiers stood and looked at him.

"Where have you come from?" one of them asked.

"I came from that mountain up there," Saturn said.

"And survived?" the soldiers said and all started laughing.

"What is your business here?" one of the soldiers asked.

"I'm interested in that white building that must have recently appeared in your city," Saturn said.

The group stared at him.

"Wait here," one of them said. Another one climbed up onto a horse and raced off.

"Did you really come over that mountain?" one of them said.

"I encountered those creatures with the stripes if that's what you mean," Saturn said. "Several of them."

"And you defeated them?" a soldier asked.

"Well no..I just kept them busy until I made it down the mountain," Saturn said.

The group all looked at each other.

"Not likely," they all said and continued to laugh. There was the sound of hoofbeats, as a group of soldiers on slightly different looking animals then actual horses rode up. At the lead was a somewhat well dressed officer.

"Hmm..I see.." he said looking at one of the original guards. "You..come with me.." he said.

"Where are we going?" Saturn asked.

"Where you wanted to go," the officer said.

Even though she didn't know it, Mina was in a similar position to the one Serena faced miles and miles away. She was tied up and surrounded by people who she didn't trust. She had no idea why they had done this and they weren't exactly letting her know either.

"Are you guys just gonna keep me like this or is there some reason you kidnapped me?" Mina asked.

"There is," Gial said. "But we are waiting for our leader, then all will be explained."

"That's nice..." Mina muttered. "Just what do you want?"

"Please. It won't be much longer."

Mina sighed.

They don't seem like kidnappers. I mean..they have been trying not to treat me too roughly even if they have tied me up like this. I wonder what just is going on.

Azura and Sailor Mars were riding on a very fast horsk across the ground.

"So you say one of your friends with one of them?" Azura asked.

"Yes, she's in trouble isn't she?" Mars asked.

"That depends."

"On what?"

"On whether she cooperates with them."

"Why would she cooperate? And about what?"

"Mars, the government of this country is entirely female, run by amazons. I serve them as a warrior. There are certain male members of the population who would like to remove the amazon's from power."

"So that's what this group is?"

"Yes. I think they see your arrival as a chance to even the odds, they haven't been strong enough to face us before, but if they had you and your friend. If they convinced you they were right."

"They wouldn't convince me by trying to kidnap me," Mars said.

"I'm sure they figured they were willing to risk it, at the very least they can keep her from our government," Azura said.

"Maybe, but you're saying that if Mina goes along with them she should be fine?"

"Yes probably, but if she goes along with them things get complex," Azura said. "I'm not asking you to make a judgement on which side you'd be on Mars, but basically each side has a point."

"But you serve the amazons."

"Yes, it is my duty," Azura said. "But I try and keep myself open to new ideas, even in the wake of old traditions. I can explain this to you more once we rescue your friend."

"And how do I know I can trust you?"

"I saved you didn't I?"

"It would seem that way," Mars said. "However, I'm new around here, I have to be cautious."

"Once we get your friend back, you can choose your own path."

"All right, fair enough," Mars said. "Where do you think she is?"

"Well there are still hoofprints. We'll follow them."

"If they're smart they wouldn't leave us a trail."

"I think this trail is valid enough for now, however, I agree," Azura said. "I do have other means to find them."

"Oh," Mars said wondering just what those other means were.

"See..a house..excellent," Neptune said.

"The last time we saw a house we got into trouble," Pluto said.

"I'll handle it differently this time," Neptune said.

"Oh..great.." Pluto said. "Wait..no..let me handle it."

"What?"

"Just humor me."

"Okay, okay," Neptune said. "It's all yours."

Pluto approached the house.

"Welcome to our country, and our city?" the officer said. "I am Vitar, the captain of the guards."

"Guardian Saturn," Saturn said.

"Ah..yes..I'm sorry about all the troops, but we are at war."

"With who?"

"It's a long story Saturn. Which I'm sure you will be told in time. However I believe your concern should be the ones in this school of yours is it?"

"Yes," Saturn said. "There are students there?"

"Yes..several hundred," Vitar said. "We have kept it surrounded. We were unsure what to do with them. We were hoping one of you would show up."

"And just how did I get here?"

"I do not know personally. The government has been made aware of your presence. They are sending a representative out."

"Okay," Saturn said. They arrived at the school surrounded by guards. Several students were poking their heads out worriedly.

"Hey it's Guardian Saturn!" someone said from inside and a collective cry went up. Guardian Saturn headed into the school. Vitar followed.

"You did no better!" Guardian Neptune shouted.

"Sorry," Guardian Pluto replied.

The two were backing up slowly, several armed soldiers were advancing on them.

"You guys get around don't you?" Neptune said.

"Surrender spies," one of the soldiers said.

"Sorry..no can do," Neptune said. "What do you say we take care of em Pluto?"

"All for it," Pluto said. "Pluto Storm Fist!"

The soldiers were knocked down to the ground unconcious.

"Are they still alive?" Neptune asked looking.

"They seem to be," Pluto said.

"Then let's go," Neptune said.

"We didn't even get a bite to eat," Pluto said.

"We'll find something somewhere. Let's just go," Neptune said and the two hurried off.

Serena leaned against the wall of the cave and rocked back and forth trying to get a little comfortable. Sy sat down beside her.

"I talked to Visara, she says I can loosen the ropes up a little," Sy said. "Don't try anything or she'll get mad."

"I wasn't planning on it," Serena said. The thought of grabbing her brooch off of her dress and using it to transform crossed her mind, but she wasn't sure these people were the enemy. Sy untied her wrists and let her pull them in front of her. She cracked her knuckles and moved them as much as she could given that he shoulders were still tied.

"Thanks," she said.

"I really hope you aren't a spy," Sy said.

"Why not?" Serena asked.

"Because, you're too pretty to be one. It'd be a shame if you were."

Serena grinned slightly.

"I've heard that line before," She said dreamily. Sy was actually quite cute.

"Yeah..well..." Sy said. "I'll get you some food a little later."

"Uh what if I have to go to the bathroom?" Serena asked.

"Bathroom?"

"Uh you know..uh...go..."

Sy looked at her strangely.

"Uh...number one, number two..."

Sy shook his head.

"I don't know what you mean," he said.

"Uh..well...you eat food right?"

"Yeah sure, and at some point that food gets digested and.."

"OH! That!" Sy said. "So they call it going to the bathroom where you come from."

"Yeah.." Serena said.

"We call it cleansing."

"Uh..good for you," Serena said.

"Sure..cleansing..you just tell me when you need to..and I'll uh..make sure it happens."

"Uh..okay.." Serena said worriedly.

Sy picked the ropes back up.

"Oh..not again," Serena said.

"Well.I can help you a little," he said taking her wrists and tying them toghether in front of her. "With them out in front of you, you can sleep easier, plus we can take these off," he said and pulled of the shoulder ones. Serena stretched a little.

"Yes that's much better," she said.

"I thought it would be," Sy said. "Just relax. We'll go to see the wizardess tommorow."

When Guardian Saturn had first arrived in Juuban he found that the teachers had managed to keep the students under some measure of control. Vitar had already talked to them and somewhat explained what was going on, still it was overwhelming for most of them. Miss Haruna had been appointed the spokesperson for the school.

"Uh..have all the students come to the auditorium so I can talk to them please," Saturn said.

"Good idea," Miss Haruna said. "Greg..how did this happen?"

"I have no idea," Saturn said. "I hope we'll find out soon."

Haruna nodded. Soon the students were filling into the auditorium. Saturn walked up to the stage. Vitar followed.

"Uh..hi," he said. "I..uh..know this must seem very strange and scary. I'm am trying to find out all I can. What I know is that this school has somehow been transported to another planet," Saturn said. "For right now. All of you are going to have to keep calm. Vitar here has promised us food, and a member of the government is coming to talk with me. As soon as I know more I'll tell you. But I promise you that we'll get home. The scouts will find a way."

"But you're the only one here," One of the students said.

"Besides..how do we know we can trust you," Urawa Ryo said emerging from the crowd. "How do we know you haven't caused this yourself?"

"Don't be such a fool Urawa," Molly said. "Why would they cause this!"

"I'm not sure, but it is a little suspicious," Urawa said.

The crowd started erupting into chaos and agrument.

"Hold it!" Saturn said firing his sword into the air. "We can't panic. I don't know if I convince Urawa of the truth, but you all know what the scouts have done in the past. We protect the people of the Earth, even if we're not on that planet at the time."

"Just who are you anyway?" Urawa snapped.

"Shut up Urawa!" Molly said.

Saturn sighed.

"I shouldn't do this, but..it may be necessary," he said and reverted back into his human form, that of Greg.

The group gasped.

"AMY's BROTHER! You gotta be kidding me!" Urawa shouted.

"Shut up man!" one of the other students said and punched him.

"Stop!" Greg shouted. The crowd panicked. Greg pulled out his power stick and transformed again.

"Vitar, please get some food here, it is going to take a while for them to get used to this," Saturn said.

"I don't envy your position," Vitar said. "I'll get you that food."

Saturn sighed and tried to figure out how to reassure the students.

"I don't blame them," he said. "I'm really not cut out for this though."

In Jasoriko.

"So..how is it on your world?" King East asked.

"It's uh..different," Uranus said.

"Oh?"

"Well..it's hard to explain. Actually considering I haven't been out of your palace, I couldn't make that many comparisions," Uranus said.

"Do you like it there?" East asked.

"Very much," Uranus said.

"Well maybe if you spend some time here you'll find our country more desirable," East said.

"It would take a lot," Uranus said. "Probably too much."

"Hmm..we'll see. So..you had a run in with Tijiro ey?"

"After he snuck into my room," Sakuro said.

"I didn't mean too, that's where I appeared," Uranus said.

"Yes that's true, don't be so hard on him Sakuro," East said.

"I must say Uranus, you actually were slightly harder to hit them most opponents I've encountered," Tijiro said with a grin.

"That was very impressive," Uranus said. "What kind of discipline is it."

"An ancient one? One that has been passed down through my family for generations. Only very focused individuals can use it."

"You must be a formidable warrior," Uranus said.

"There is not a soldier alive who can beat me," Tijiro said.

"You just haven't run into him yet, sooner or later you will," Sakuro said with a grin. "There are stories, legends of warriors from other lands."

"The princess does not believe I am as good as I say. She would like to see me lose. I am sorry to disapoint her," Tijiro said.

Uranus grinned slightly. Tijiro was arrogant, but then again, he could back it up, and he appreciated that.

"Well Uranus, there is other things we must talk about. Very important matters," King East said. "Sakuro leave us."

"Why?"

"I said do it."

Sakuro scowled and headed out.

"Now..to business," the King said.

Mina was beginning to cramp up.

"Just how long do I have to wait anyway?" She asked.

"No longer," Came a voice. She turned. A hooded figure approached her wearing a similar outfit to her other captors. Mina was slightly worried.

"So you're an outworlder. A pleasure," he said. "Now is the time when we determine whether or not we have to kill you."
