This is just a little tiny bit of a thing, because I felt the sudden urge to write some Angelus. Auld Lange Syne, short and somewhat angsty. Contains a Buffy/Angelus pairing, which was slightly odd for me to write, but there you go. Evil plot bunnies.

As is appropriate for the day - porn. My first ever pwp, as generally the plot plots evilly until it has taken over and usurped the porn. In any case: Hating Spike, Season 6 PWP in which Spke manages to stay in a good mood after a Buffy encounter.

Big update, without fic. Lots of changes to the site, most importantly, I put up an awards site (a very, very small one!) In the harsh light of day I may mave heart failure at the idea and delete it, but as of now I have an awards site - look at the pretty pictures I made! So go forth and nominate. I've also done a lot of rearranging of the pages here. If you are so inclined, you can check out a little history, upon the anniversary of this strange obsession, here.

Just an update about all the beautiful things I've been getting - Crushed got runner-up Unconventional Angst and Raising the Stakes got runner-up Conventional Comedy/Fluff at the Shades of Grey Awards! Yay ! As though that wasn't nice enough, Vampire's Kiss gave Something True a 'Sexy Dreams Award.' So now I have an awards page, with, you know, awards on it.
Also, I made a page for the delicious Dead Soul, because I have fallen way too much in love with her fabulous Spike/Sunday writing. So now all her work can be found here.

As promised, or one day late, I present: New Fic.
The Spirit of Thanksgiving, snarky Spuffy Season Four fluff. Now say that four times fast. Also, I got me a live journal. Will she actually use it, or forget about if after 2 weeks? The bets are on. And, did some messing around with Fiction page, so everything is now by season. Which may of course mean it doesn't work anymore. Let me know. And (gee, haven't I be busy?) lot's more site stuff to come. Soon.

Well, let me see, I won a, what was it again, oh that's right, A HALO! Happy xmas, astraea. Have a look here if you don't believe me. (What do you mean, you don't believe me?!) Something True got 'Best Buffy' in THE HALOS! On a scale of one to ten, one of the best xmas presents ever.
In honor of the occasion, there will be a new fluffy, spuffy S4 fic up by tomorrow (Maybe, and I was writing it anyway, but....anyway.) I just wanted to boast in the mean time. I will now go and be loud and obnoxious elsewhere.

Not so much, really. A couple of nominations (yes, all blase about nominations these days) probably due to the face that I am a whore and added a page of all the fanfic award sites. Little in the way of fic. Tiny little vignette finished that I'll put up later.
Oh, and my hits got to 1000, but the stupid counter was set to take only 3 figures so the damn thing reset. You don't even want to know how cross I was about that!

Added a new fic, Crushed. Very much *not* my usual thing, very short, very angsty. Not fun. Not to entirely spoil the plot, but don't read if unconsenual M/M slash offends.

Yeah, long time no updates. But I've been doing lots of little things to the site, usually with the net effect of makng things worse. A lot of older fics are getting reposted, with new, improved versions, italics intact, formatting etc.
BUT! Raising the Stakes is finished!!! Part 6, Doomed is posted. That's is. Done. The early chapters are getting an editing at the moment and will be reposted over the next week or so. Oh, and BtWHS is also finished, with Part 7 here.
And I got nominated for a Shadows and Dust Award for Something True! Go me!

Put up two parts of what is now called 'Buffy the White House Saviour'. (Previously 'Taxing Times' on ff.net because it was 2am and I suddenly realised that fics need titles.) The final part should be up tomorrow, at worst by the end of the week.
Have been messing about with the site a lot. I did discover that all the little link pics on the recs page looked different on my work computer - and not in a good way (all in the wrong places and overlapping text) so I've taken them down. If I have linked to anyone who is upset that I haven't used their pretty picture - tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong!

Went insane and revamped site. Added a page of my favourite fics (ever-growing). Need a drink now.

Finally finished something. Response to the 'Watching You' challenge. Never wanted to do an Angel crossover. Never wanted to do a Souled!Spike fic, but there you go, not only did I do one but it seems to have gone on for ever. May become a series, may not. Also added link to my new blog. Everyone else is doing it so
why can't I? (Because you have no *time*, my child.)
4th October:
Hey! Someone got nominated for a Halo! Woo-hoo! A pretty picture for my site! Astraea does the happy dance of nomination. Other than that, I have continued to work on nine, count 'em, nine! fics at the same time, with the result that none are ready to be posted. And then began *another*. Dear god, someone kill me now. My page of recs is coming sooooon, in case anyone is wondering. The fics may take a bit longer!

Well, this site, for a start! I am a refugee from ff.net. When they announced their happy plans to censor my world I first fumed silently, then signed the petition, then decided to start my own site. Since me and computers are unmix-y things, this has been an entertaining experience at best. However, as most of the fic I'm working on is or will be NC-17, and as it involves a variety of 'ships, it seemed the best way. Should anyone spot any truly evil problems with the site, *please* contact me, although I won't guarantee I can fix it!
