Plates of the top governmental leaders. As a sign of their federal status, the regional code section is replaced with a Russian flag. The plate is of the "one letter-three digits-two letter" format. What is meaningful in this plate's numerology is the letter code, referencing to the organization that owns the car. The car with such a plate enjoys vast rights and in some cases can even violate the traffic law. The federal authorities claim to continuously decrease the number of these plates as the status of the latters is truly exceptional. Below are letter codes of the federal plates. These plates were taken out of use since February 01, 2007. They were replaced by "normal" citizen plates, however, of specific series (see Special Series). |
