Hospital Overnight Bag:
Robe (front closing, not over the head as the latter will not work w/ your I.V.)
Slippers and socks as your feet may get cold
Baggy dress or outfilt without a binding waistband to go home in
Loose fitting underwear (women may want to wear a bra w/o underwire or none at all as it may put pressure on your incision.)
Pillows, you will want to bring at least one from home to put across your tummy for the ride home. Be sure to put colorful cases on them so staff know they are yours.
Tongs (yes the salad kind) to hold toilet paper when wiping your tooshie immediately following surgery.
Small portable fan to help drown out hospital noise in your room when sleeping
Blanket to put over your sheets in case you get too cold
A small photo album containing pictures of your children and/or other loved ones
Toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, deoderant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, brush
The above list is meant to be used as a suggestion only. I will soon be adding a list of items that you may want to have on hand at home when you return  from the hospital. If you have suggestions for either list or questions regarding the lists feel free to e-mail me at badel_1999@yahoo.com
