| As many of you are aware "It is the goal to reach out to everyone, and provide as much information and support so that we may educate, understand and alleviate the isolation experienced with Behcet's." What you may not know is how costly and time consuming that this endeavour may be. The time factor is not an issue as I enjoy spending time in helping others out. It makes me feel as if I have a purpose in having this disease. The unfortunate part is the cost involved in running an operation such as this. It can take its toll financially on an individual. Over the last nine years I have been able to fund most of this operation out of my own personal finances. Due to the ever growing numbers of our members each month this is no longer a managable option for me to continue with. This is why I am now asking for help with any donations that you could possibly make in order to help keep this website and support group going. Any denomination would be helpful to cover some of the carrying costs involved. No tax receipts will be able to be issued. I kindly thank you in advance for your support and generosity. I know that together we are making a difference. |
