| Once again we had a very successful Behcet's BBQ. This years event grew to over double the size with people from across Canada and the USA participating. |

| Loss of a member It is with heavy hearts to inform our Behcet's Community that we have lost one of our own. Myrna Jane Birch (MJ) left this world for a better place on February 23,2007. Her great wit, knowledge and zest for life will be missed by all. Read more on our In memory link |

| TEAM CANADA -A BIG SUCCESS 2007 Walk for Behcet's in Michigan. Team Canada was a great success at the Michigan walk for Behcet's raising over $834.00 for the cause. We would like to thank all who participated and donated to make this such a worthwhile event. Even with the Breast Cancer diagnosis our president Cindy walked the one mile event. The turn out was good for such a chilly day. We hope to be able to attend the next walk. |

| Meeting & Conference-October 2008 What a great turn out we had for our first joint meeting/conference with the Vasculitis Foundation Canada on October 18, 2008. This event was held from 11 am to 3:30 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. We had Dr. Pope, a Rheumatologist as guest speaker. She did an amazing job in educating us on various forms of vasculitis and new medical approaches on the horizon. A hot lunch was served and people got to mingle and discuss what they were going through.. It was a very enjoyable day! Behcet's Canada |

| Picnic & BBQ in June - What a Hit! Behcet's Canada and the Vasculitis Foundation Canada teamed together to bring you our first joint BBQ and Picnic. This was an exciting afternoon where we got to meet others, chat and enjoy the day with family and friends. It was nice to meet all the new people as well as catch up with old friends. The kids had a great time having their faces painted. The weather held up and it turned out to be a beautiful day with many in attendence. We are all looking forward to our next event in October, 2008. We hope to see you there. |
