| Support Group Meetings |
| Behcet's has become such a big part of my life over the years, I have experienced the loneliness, confusion and the strange looks I get from others when trying to explain what is wrong. There are so many questions that many of us can't find answers too and even more reasons for us to keep trying. During this time I have met several others from many area's who also suffer from this illness. Once a year we have gathered together. This is where we can exchange information, talk about our disease and how it is affecting our lives. Many of us have found it beneficial in helping us deal with our illness. As well as for other family members who want to try to understand. We are a rare bunch of surivors and we need help to keep going on, as one day there may be a cure. By finding and talking to others like ourselves, together we can make a difference. |

| We have set up our annual support group information and meeting dates for 2009. The meetings will be held on the following dates: Spring Meeting - Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 11 am - 4 pm Cost $15 incl lunch Location: Preston Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 334 Westminister Dr. Cambridge, ON Guest Speaker: Dr. Simon Carette from Mount Sinai Hospital, Vasculitis Clinic Family BBQ - Saturday, June 27, 2009 Time: 11 am - 4 pm Cost $10 incl lunch Location: Riverside Park, Cambridge. Ontario Friends and family are encouraged and welcomed We would love to have you attend!
